St. Paddy's Day means parties and parades. Can't go out to celebrate or trying to saving money? Try these fun ideas for budget friendly fun. I plan to write more article on budget friendly ideas in the future. Want to share your budget friendly, thrifty, or cheap ideas or links? Email me or leave a comment.

We're all trying to save money these days. But budget cutting can be creative and entertaining. Resourcefulness and sharing leads to more money in your pocket and closer, more rewarding relationships and experiences. We recently cut $34 out of our budget by opting for the cheapest satellite television package. We watch the shows we no longer receive through paid tv on YouTube and

network websites. Many network websites like FOX, NBC, and CBS offer full length episodes of hit shows for free after the premiere episodes air. Check out a few samples of free or low cost videos, video websites like veoh, and guides below. Look for St. Paddy's Day classics like 'The Quiet Man' starring John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara, or Darby O'Gill and the Little People starring Sean Connery.

Reconsider going to a Saint Patrick's Day Parade. They are free, after all, and fun for the whole family. Read more, get links, and watch the videos.

Eat this: hearty Saint Patrick's Day recipes

Did you know Saint Patrick was born in Italy, not Ireland? Some claim he was born in Wales, but others swear his British parents were in Italy at the time of his birth. Or that Saint Patrick's color was blue, not green? Known as the Apostle of Ireland, Saint Patrick is one of Christianity's most widely recognized figures.

Although Saint Patrick's Day is a religious holiday in Ireland, it's celebrated widely and considered a party day in America. Parades are common, rivers are dyed green, ale flows freely, and Americans join in the "wearing of the green."

One of the most common ways to celebrate Saint Patrick's Day is to enjoy traditional Irish food. Here's a few recipes to grace your Saint Paddy's table. Click here for the recipes, and to check out the cool video on how to make Irish Coffee.

Danny Padilla

Danny "The Giant Killer" Padilla was born Dennis Padilla on April 3, 1951. He was the sixth child for Ramon and Frances Padilla. When Danny was only seven years old he hatched his plan to make the Padilla family name famous. While out with his father, Danny came across a copy of his first ever Muscle magazine. To him the equation seemed simple: these bodybuilders in the magazine looked great, everyone wanted to have their autographs and get their pictures taken with them . . . what was not to like? Danny decided right then, this is it; this is what I'm going do with my life.He sent away for bodybuilding courses that he found advertised in the back of the physique magazines and soon realized that he'd be in need of some good training equipment and supplements to achieve his goals. Unable to afford the weights, supplements and protein powders that the courses instructed him to use, he began to get creative and to "improvise", in order to reach his objectives. Using water pipes in his basement as a chin-up bar; a rusty old weight set discarded by his older brother to perform the prescribed exercises in the courses; other "weights" that he constructed out of sewer cap covers and old pipes; and a wooden bench that he also built himself,

Danny was on his way to victory.Danny was a great athlete in high school. He showed a natural talent for basketball, wrestling, football and gymnastics. High school coaches implored him to join their teams. Danny responded that he couldn't because he was "training to be Mr. America". He threw himself into this effort, all the while falling in love with the feeling and the results that he got from his workouts. On January 29, 1970 he entered the "Mr. Rochester" bodybuilding competition and, at the age of 18, he was the youngest person ever to win that title. The "Giant Killer" went on to win the 1975 IFBB Mr. USA, The 1977 IFBB Mr. America and to finish in the "top ten" at the IFBB Night of the Champions and the IFBB Mr. Olympia (including the Masters Olympia) nine separate times.

Top Ten Muscle Building Foods - What to Eat to Build Muscle

By Jim Stone

To build muscles, eating the right foods is just as important as weight lifting. Here is a list with 10 foods that can help you:

1.Red meat: lean red meat is an excellent source of protein. It contains zinc, iron and vitamins that can help muscle growth.

2.Eggs: eggs are a must if you are trying to build muscles. The protein they have in them is of a high biological value and can be easily used by your body.

3.Fish: fish and especially salmon, is full of healthy fatty acids like omega-3. Try to eat it at least 2-3 times a week.

4.Chicken or Turkey: chicken breast in particular is filled with proteins and is one of the top foods that can help you grow muscles.

5.Milk: it can provide you with mineral, vitamins and calcium.

6.Cottage cheese: the fact that it's very slow digesting makes it a very popular body-building food.

7.Oatmeal: this complex carbohydrate can provide your body with a steady rate of energy and promote growth.

8.Fruits: fruits like apples, kiwi, oranges and berries can supply your body with fiber, potassium, zinc, iron and minerals.

9.Vegetables: vegetables such as tomatoes, spinach, carats and peppers should also be included in your diet.

10.Nuts: they contain unsaturated fats and you should get more that 15% calories from this type of food daily. Other good sources are: olive oil, nut butter and fatty fish.

Don't forget to drink plenty of water, because it transports all the nutrients through your body. Make sure that you eat regular meals (every 2-3 hours). Avoid refined carbohydrates like sugar. Also avoid high glycemic index food, such as potatoes and white bread. Choose some of these aliments and develop your muscle building menu that along with intense weight training, will help you build a more muscular physique fast.
